A14 Aluma Black

A14 Aluma Black patina is a traditional darkening solution for aluminum. Concentrate – add up to 50% distilled water. Apply to a surface free of oil, oxides and plating residue. Concentrate should be diluted with distilled water.

Patina applied by spray, brush or burnished on with an abrasive pad. Clean water rinse stops the chemical reaction. The finish may be wet burnished, or dried and highlighted, then sealed. An additional patina may be applied over this color. If a solid color is desired, simply seal the finish with appropriate clear topcoat.
