Bluestar Eye Cushions are designed and hand-manufactured from the finest materials and standards. They fit the broadest range of professional movie and video camera eyepieces of any manufacturer in the world.
Well renowned for their high-quality materials, these cushions wick away sweat from the eye, resulting in less eyestrain. Perfect for both broadcast and film operators’, the cushion provides a high level of comfort throughout the day. Shoot longer and feel better! Your eyes will thank you.
Each eye cushion is individually sealed in a plastic bag ensuring absolute cleanliness and sanitation until it is put on the camera. Bluestar eye cushions are welded rather than stitched, thereby providing increased comfort around your eye.
Furthermore, unlike other eye cushions, Bluestar’s extra-thick foam backing provides an excellent light seal with even the gentlest eye pressure. When gently stretched, the cushion’s flexible construction conforms to fit snugly and securely around both circular and oval viewfinder eyecups.
Bluestar eye cushions are meant to be a disposable items. When the eyepiece looks dirty, dispose of it and use a new one. It is also recommended to use a new cushion for each camera operator. This prevents the spread of sickness and infection through the eye.
