Cork is used in many ways in the film industry! The Special Effects department uses it to simulate debris from falling buildings or explosions, due to its lightweight and safe properties. It’s often mixed with dust and dirt to create realistic-looking fragments.

Also finding application in set design to mimic various textures like stone or other object surfaces.
